Mrs barky and myself went to hampden yesterday for his show-sun was shining, crowd were in great spirits-no point having a seat really as everyone stood for the entire three hour show.
Sharleen spiteri(texas) warmed the crowd up nicely and mccartney took the stage with the crowd at fever pitch-ran through all the best wings songs(live and let die the highlight with amazing pyrotechnics)
Also a tribute section to both harrison and lennon with the whole crowd singing "give peace a chance".
2 encores-the first with just paul and a guitar singing "yesterday",made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, and then a full pipe band onstage for "mull of kintyre"(cheesy I know but brilliant)
Second encore-"helter skelter" and then "sergeant peppers lonely hearts club band"
All in all,a fantastic day out.
Green Day tonight which may be a tad different-lol!
