Paypal Advice

Recently I have had 3 unauthorised transactions on my Paypal account, as soon as I noticed I rang them and they advised me to file a complaint, change passwords etc.

I did what was asked and have now had 2 of the transactions refunded by the seller
The third one is still outstanding(different seller)

My problem is this, as I said 2 of the transactions have been refunded by the seller, but paypal have put a hold on the account

I am now overdrawn on my bank account and will be charged for this,

Who is responsible for the charges, do I have a claim against paypal?

Any advice appreciated

Can you give me a bit more detail about the unathorised transactions? Did something get bought you were unaware of? Were the charges for something in particular?

It appears to be bling sites in the states, my shipping details were on the paypal receipt, which is a bit odd as if it was somebody trying to buy on my account why would they leave my address on it.

yeah, totally understand. You really need to speak to your bank and tell them what's happened. You also need to change your password and tell the bank your account may have been compromised because they may have access to your bank details now.

It's easy to make a payment then contact the seller asking to post to a different address, and it's easier to be the seller and recieve the money!
