I was doing a tranfer of funds from my Paypal account the other day and for the first time it gave me an option for the transfer to be 1 working day quicker for a £5 charge. Never seen this before but used it because I need the cash quick.

Tried to do the same today and the option is not there anymore, anyone experienced the same thing?

Was this an outside link that you clicked for the quick transfer?

Ive never heard of this before.

1st I would check your emails. You should have a confirmation email - make sure if you have one, it is actually from them (check for spelling, and where the email originated)

If you are not happy with this email, check your pp account history.

I would then ring pp and even change your password to be safe -ASAP.

I could be wrong, but Ive been using pp for 5 plus years, NEVER has this been an option

I just hope you didnt get an email 'from' paypal offering this to you, and it was on the actual site.

If it was an unsolicited email, and you clicked the link, and entered your name/password, it is not good news Im afraid.

No I dont think so, it was actually an option within Paypal, and it worked a treat. Found some articles about it on Google just now

Good - I get several emails purporting to be from PP every month - Ive been selected for this that and everything - all we need is you to click this link and login - yeah right!

If theres stuff on google then and it was on the actual site sounds ok.

Thinking about it, sounds like a typical ebay/pp thing - offer fast transfers just before christmas for a ridiculous fee. They dont miss a thing.......................

Yep it was just before Xmas, bit greedy of them, but helped me out I must say

I have used this option before. it is in the actual paypal account. can't say if i've noticed it is n't there anymore.
and it did put the money in my account within 1 working day.

lol considering nearly every bank is in the faster payments scheme these days for all transactions under £500 they are taking the proverbial

standard bank transfers under that amount should be instant
