PayPal wont let me do anything because my card ran out. When i add my new one it says it on my other account, but when i signed in there ws no card there???

Any ideas? I emailed them a few hours ago but PayPal never reply. Grrrr!

Plus was i had £10.38 pp balance on my old account which i didnt know about :)

You must have your card you are trying to add onto this account on your old account.
Remove the card from your "other" account and you will then be able to add it to this one.
ie one card can only be on one account...........

I had the same problem with this a while ago and I was sure the
card in question was on another account as an additional card.
I think I had to close the other account in the end though thinking
about it....
( I never got a reply from paypal either! )

I got a reply and they said they can't do it. I wanna close all my accounts exept this one in question. I can't remember the email of one of them though and thats probably the one with the card :x

You need to phone them, sometimes what happens is, the old card is "removed" but that number is still associated on pp's system.
Replacement cards tend to be the same number, for our 2 banks they are only the dates and cv2 are different obviously, then the card number is the same and it's recognised as having been used on a previous account.
Does that make sense? LOL, phone them to explain :thumbsup:


I rang but it was a automated system and they told me to go to the website. Ahhhhh i hate PayPal there useless!!! :p

Don't select an option, leave it and you will get an agent.

I've only ever had ONE account for the last five years or so.
Strangely I've never had any problems.

Yeah i did aswell but then some smammer on eBay screwed mine up and it got suspended so i had to make a new one so scrapped the original one, pp are idiots i was robbed that day aswell by a foriegner no less!

Just added my solo account card instead of joint account then will transfer all funds as and when required!!!

Pain but easier than talking to someone who doesn't speak same lanuage :)
