wonder if anyone could help,i paid via paypal gift for a item on here,and have not received it. tried contacting the seller but hasnt been online for a few days,where do i stand?

How much was it for, if it was a large amount, the small claims court is an option IF you have his address or cut your losses if it was only a few ££££.
Could it just be a postal delay only being a few days?


was under £15 and had other parcels arrive yesterday and paid for the item last friday so dont think it will arrive

you could just chill, people have lives and not everything goes to plan, wait a few more days before accusing people of scamming u, even pp and ebay won't lok at things till 10-14 days.
look at me, bad back appeared yest so looks like i won't be geting out of bed for a few days, maybe the other guys has got similar probs? and unlike me no lappy to use in bd ;)

Ask the other people that purchased items in the thread if they were sensible enough to get any details from a stranger(who wouldn't send first despite being a relative new member, and having only 1 feedback) on the internet before sending them a gift of cash.

Use the prevailing time to familiarise yourself with the guidelines for trading on HUKD. :)

and whilst doing so rather abruptly, gave out incorrect advice yourself; excerpt from paypals own website
"Some points to note:

* Generally buyers must wait at least seven days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received"
