I got this message today after selling some xbox points on ebay.

Anyone had this before, the payment is on hold and the codes were sent via email and through the post.

Is it likely that i will still receive the money or am i going to loose out......

i think paypal seem to be doing this a fair bit

i bought some gift vouchers off ebay and the seller asked me to leave feedback as soon as i had used them as paypal wouldnt release funds until it was satisfied that they were legitimate

Yes i've had feedback left and i've also left feedback,

I rang paypal and they seam to think the item may have been payed with on a stolen card, however if it was a stolen card how would they have been able to link it to the account?

in the resolution bit in paypal, there's a part for the seller to have their input, it asks specifically for the tracking information, input the details there and paypal should find in your favour....

The item has been delivered to the buyer, however i have also had an email from the buyer claiming they were not the ones who authorised the payment.

The problem now is that i have checked the codes as i always make a note of them before sending and they have all been redeemed.

Pay pal are still asking for me to resolve the case, even though i have provided them with the tracking numbers.

it's looking like im going to loose both the codes and the money.

The buyer has even had the cheek to leave feedback for the items..

Great one paypal... :x

#16
NEVER sell points on ebay, i sold some and i ended up having them 'sold' 10 times with every single one fraudulent. ended up selling elsewhere.

I have provided that with the address on it

along with print screens of feedback left, transactions, everything.

Ebay have now started to remove the feedback left by the buyer,
