you kinda new to ebay ??

it could be that ebay have held the money, they won't release until x amount of days or until the buyer leaves you positive feedback

if after x amount of days, you don;t get feedback, paypal will release the money on the condition that no dispute has been opened by the buyer

or the buyer has sent an e-cheque and you will need to wait for the "cheque" to cash

you will need to send the phone out.... SEND IT SPECIAL DELIVERY, NOTHING LESS,

Don't post it until Paypal have received the money. I am waiting for an e-cheque atm and it's been over a week now!

he needs to check if it is e-cheque, it may be paypal holding the money.......

Op is if it says e-cheque in the info for the payment, do not send item till i cashes,

if it says paypal are holding your money, then send the item right away

wait till its cleared do not send it out till it does :)

if you send the item before an e-cheque clears, then the buyer could cancel the e-cheque and get your item

ebays new policy alog side paypal is that you post the items out , check ur paypal balance and it will say balance pending post now , if its not shoing there and its just a e-mail then it could be a nigerian scam , if its a echeque ur not to send till cleared , its pointless waiting the 14days till pay pal release the money if it is a paypal thing coz the buyer will have pend a dispute by then , the money is safe with paypal and is normally released 24 hours after postivie feedback is left. hope this helps . if in doubt ring paypal they can be very helpful .

items that come in to the new rules are mainly electricals , phones and antiques or expensive things ,cameras ,computers etc.

Hi Basicly Do Not Send Out Item Until Paypal Notify You The Paymentt Is Clear
It Can Take 2 Weeks
Sometimes As Well The Payment Does Not Clear
So Wait For Notification

I've had a lot of buyers pay by e-cheque, the payments have always cleared with no problem, however it's a real pain as it will take 9 days to clear, but as others have already said don't post the goods until cleared.

I've had e-cheques bounce on me

OP what exactly does it say in your paypal account?
If its anm e-cheque then wait till it clears to post
If its held but says post the item then post it.

I had a buyer cancel an e-cheque and paypal never informed me, thankfully i hadn't sent any goods and only discovered the problem by logging on and checking transaction details. As everyone else said do NOT posr till you get confirmation that it hascleared paypal transaction will tell you expected clearing date.
Will show as below

Status:
Uncleared (Expected Clearing Date: 27 Nov. 2008)or whatever your date is
Note: eCheques work like paper cheques
