AIUI, if ur paypal is £68 in credit and you make a £68 paypal payment, it'll instantly become 0.00 and confirmed/processed when the recipient has accepted the payment...

Neither, I believe the default is, if it all can be taken from available credit they will use it.

Charging a debit card/credit card = 1.5-2%+ charge from Visa/MC etc so why get charged?

Also DD will = delay when you have the funds already.

But if say you need to pay £68, but if you have £67 only available credit, £1 will come from the source fund chosen, Direct Debit usually default but you can choose a dc/cc and I suspect (someone confirm) good accounts (been with them for at least 6months, no problem transactions the £1 will be included in the xfered funds)

We need a paypal expert really for all that.

In the past I've had to wait days for funds to clear from my bank before funds cleared, 10days+ normally.

But recently funds have xfered immediately and then funds would come out of my bank 3-4days later, something somewhere changed there.

Im confused - so basically paypal credit comes first - i dont get charged for using a debit card on paypal

So if the paypal money sent to me reads completed ive got the money on my paypal account and can pay with it

AIUI:

Paypal Credit goes 1st
Prefered funding method on the payment 2nd (DD default, dc/cc option if you change it)

If its all from credit, it should be instantanous

As for bank clearing times etc, god knows, ebay forums place to go :P
