I have plugged a 3.5mm green audio jack lead from the back of my computer to my LG monitor and i cant hear anything. I have turned the monitor sound up to 100 and when i play something in Windows media player for example i click on the little speaker symbol on my taskbar and it shows that the music is playing because the equalizer is moving but i obviously cant hear nothing.

Can anyone help? Rep given

Depends on what windows you are running but if you right click on the volume icon and select options you should have a choice of front or back panel audio
Is the headphone socket on mute through Audio Devices?

You can see the volume going up at bottom right, i am truly stumped
Are the RCA connectors on the monitor inputs or outputs?
