Hey guys, I thought it would be better for me to link to my thread instead of pasting the same content!

Like to hear what you guys think :)

You're a student and bought all that!

Looks and sounds amazing.

Well taken pictures too...

Lovely setup  Love the neon blue look!!

VERY NICE.

You're quite a 'Poster' over on those forums!!!

So what happened with the old rig? Any old 512MB 184 pin pieces of Ram lying about for sale :-D?

Wow, what a beast!

Do you need to give advance warning to the national grid before powering all that up or do you just plug it straight into a sub station?

Very nice dark shadow

I'm building a similar but not a gaming box next week, will be my 1st box build in many years :)

Were you not tempted by a HSF like this one:

Lucky *****!!!!

I am not jealous, honest. ;)

I hope it serves you well mate.

Dark Shadow has given me a new idea for a new setup when I upgrade my aging gaming box :)

Hopefully Core3Quad cpu's will be out by then, and 2gb modules cheaper for vista to gobble up

now just to find a why to pay the electric bill with all that power.

As I've said on a previous thread WOW!...so what are you studying??..is the PC with a 2 screen set up for coursework or what??....yes like beerman I'm jealous but as I don't qualify for a student loan it's out of my affordability range.

OK I can see now ..gaming on 2 screens...I'm keeping my son away from these pics cos I know what his next objective will be...and I'm not paying!!

What speed?

I'll have a look in the drawers at home, fairly certain I have some memory knocking about.

Most likely 3200 DDR, but what size I can't remember.

I spend alot more time there than my posts indicate, believe me that place is very addictive

My old rig was similar but had 2 X 17" LG screens, A3500+ Venice, 1GB ram, 6800GT etc. Sorry everything was sold :-(

Currychops - I study Software Engineering and 2 screens come in very handy, infact I find it difficult to work with 1 screen! Also I haven't taken out a Student Loan as firstly I hate being in debt, secondly I stayed at home :)

schizoboy - The Noctua fan is superb, unfortunately the heatsink isn't up to same standard! If space wasn't an issue, I'd get this bad boy:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-TI . Feel free to drop me a line if you need any advice, more than happy to help.

As for those on about electric bills, you really don't want to see how many other gadgets are being powered. Lets say that I have 14 sockets in gold surge protecters that are almost constantly in use! The parents haven't complained as of yet!

:giggle:

very nice, although I'm not a neon fan (I had them in my last one and they kept me awake when I left my computer on overnight so one day I angrily ripped out the wires and I've slept fine since!)

I may have to hit you up in a couple of months; I'm planning to build a new PC but I've been out the game for 3 years or so and I have no idea what's good these days.

I'm just about to build a Media PC on a shoestring :) Mine has cost me only £202 though .... I'll post info if anyone is interested.
