Open a run box (hold Window key + r) and type iexplore then click OK.

You can also try using normal explorer, if you've got the address bar showing just type a url in ie www.google.com

Ditto above, recommend firefox instead :)
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/

You must be using a different pc to post here so download it on that PC, stick it on a disk/USB stick etc
Transfer it to the other pc and install

Ok i dont think im doing the right, when i burn files to disc im just dragging the short cuts is that right?

They all dont recognise on his comp
[Moderator]#15
Copying the shortcut to disk won't work, instead drag the file that the shortcut points too.
If you right click on the short cut, look at properties, then you'll see what file it points too.
Thats the file you need to copy to disk... probably something like *.exe

[Moderator]#20
no worries, just take your time and have another go tomorrow, Firefox is a good choice :)
Just make sure the file you save to disk is the downloaded file, and not just the shortcut.
If your using Vista, then its proably in the Downloaded files directory.. under your user profle

Try going into start and then going on windows update if they dont come up then you havnt got windows at all and will be best of with getting firfox :)

Go to programs, accessories, notepad. Go to help then on the top bar right click and select 'Jump to URL'
Then type in " http://www.google.com ". Then go to filehippo and download firefox or whatever browser you wish.

Notepad also supports flash now too!

Ok, best thing to do here is just take a step back, and start from scratch.

You need to get either IE, Firefox or Chrome onto the other computer. If I read it right that is :).
Firstly, Do you know the operating system he is running? I'll provide you with some links and some instructions.

1) Download one of these, depending what you want to use;

Windows XP Internet Explorer

Windows Vista Internet Explorer

Firefox

Chrome
With a bit of luck those links will work!

Now download the one of your choice to a folder you'll be able to find. The easiest one would be say to your desktop.

When it has downloaded, find the file on your desktop, and put that onto a disk. Then, take the disc to the other computer, pop it in and run the file on there. You don't want to copy the shortcut, you want to copy the whole file onto the disk.

With a bit of luck you'll then have IE/FF/Chrome installed.
