PC Help, Graphics Card?????

My PC is crashing on me whilst playing games (no other times) the computer just freezes and reboots. I suspect its my graphics card, as my processor is within it's temp range. I'ved checked my memory with a memory scan. I've changed my graphics card back to it's original radeon x300se and I can now play the games before that crashed, althou alot slower. The car I suspect is broken is a GeForce 7300GT (256mb). I'm gonna go try my card in my brothers system to see If It causes him the same problem. Any other ideas?

Forgot to add it's been working fine for 8 Months, just last couple of days It's went bust!
Bought it from Overclockers, as I ain't up to date on consumer law do I have a leg to stand on If I try it in wor kids computer and he gets the same?

Thanks

Paddy.

Does this card have a fan on it, if so try and look to see if it has stopped working.

Could have been a driver issue but as you suspect it looks like it might be the card.

See if the card is still under warranty I would guess that it still is. Even so I would still expect a gfx card to last more than 8 months.

I take it you have loaded the latest nvidia drivers paddy?..just hope you have joy with overclockers if you have to return under warranty..some have found their CS difficult.

That ideas outta the window, thought wor kid had PCI-E but turns out he's got AGP. A I right to suspect the Graphics card? I'ved updated all the drivers already, it has a fan on it but that still appears to be working, will double check when I get back home. So overclockers CS is poor then is it? I'm still covered at 8 months aren't I?

you're covered OK....I have read that some HUKD members have had problems getting OC to honour warranty claims...while others have said they are fine.

try it in another PC is really the only answer.

Got overclockers to authorize a RMA (return) today, never tried it in another Computer but judging from what people have said how my puter is acting I'm guessing it's the GFX card. So will let you know what they say.
