right click on the files you want to move, click cut.
Right click on the empty folder and right click and click paste.

Do you have both a Local Disk (C) and (D)?
What's the Total Space/Free Space on each?

I use Windirstat when I want to see what's using up all my space
It shows what percentage of the drive is being used by particular folders and a graphic display of the contents.

http://windirstat.info/

You could change the location that iTunes stores all its files.
edit>preferences>Advanced>iTunes Music Location
