PC Option Rip Off

I bought a non standard spec PC from http://www.pcoption.co.uk and wanted to let everyone know about my nightmare with them.

They do look cheap with a good story but.......
They advise delivery within 14 days I received it just within 30 after no communication at all from them and a lot of chasing from me.
They couldn't give me the spec I ordered and agreed to downgrade with a refund. The refund didn't turn up and after 2 months of chasing I still have no refund and have been constantly lied to.
Now I have an overpriced rubbish spec PC that I could have got anywhere.

If you do still wish to buy a PC from them bear in mind that they have a failed company PC Option Ltd (check companies house they have not filed a return or submitted accounts and are going to be stuck off).
Desktop Option Ltd is the new company and it is very common for new businesses to fail.

The joke thing is that they only have two staff who are the Director and the Company Secretary but they say things like i'll check with the accounts department.

Do yourself a favour and go to someone reputable, I certainly have learned a lesson.

Should be in MISC

You have 7 days to return under Distant Selling Regulations for full refund
Yeh i know, they said they would refund in 30 days knowing the terms and conditions and I didn't (well past that time now). Just checked on PC advisor and they have people taking them to court and all sorts! Sorry for the wrong categorisation 1st post.
We should have a name and shame company section setup where ppl can check before buying.
Save more peeps getting ripped off.
kind of reminds me of my time with clickshop.com

after loads of emails and false promises i slapped the sale of goods act upon their doorstep with a 'letter before action' , and i recieved my refund within 10 days :)
