A friend has a Medion PC.
He wanted to upgrade the RAM on it so took the Crucial test which indicated there were 2 slots that took a max 1gb in each slot.
He ordered the memory but after fitting it it only shows there being 1 present.
He has swapped the 'known good one' into the slot that is not recognised and it doesn't see it. Also done vice versa which sort of indicates the memory as being ok.
Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts?
Obviously I do not have the PC at hand for any more details or tests but wondered if there was anything I could ask them to check later.
