I installed a driver for a datel transfer kit.
Then i read a tut saying i should not have, so i uninstalled it.
However whenever i go to reinstall a drive, its just a normal microsoft one Universal Serial Bus Controllers, the list comes but then the old driver i did install comes up and i can only install that and not the other.

is there a way around this

You could maybe try "system restore" to a date before you installed the driver...Start - All Programmes - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore - "restore my computer to an earlier time". That might work, then re-install the driver you want.
I think i have worked it out. No wonder my year 6 teachers calls me a Genius. She also said i will fit in well in High School. Cant wait for secondry school.
