... what do you need to do to get pc world to price match.

It says on the website that you need to phone up their sales team, but is this necessary? Can you just arrive at the store and get them to price match?-- if so what do you need to take with you?

btw I am looking to price match against a product on amazon.

Make sure its amazon and not a market place seller and take a print out with you, I think you call the number if you wanted to order online.

I went the other day to buy a Hard Drive, I said it was cheaper on Amazon.co.uk, the cashier checked the site on their terminal and matched it no problem. No printouts or phone call

Yep they'll check on their Till's with inbuilt Internet Browser, just remember the extra 10% off is 10% of the difference between the higher PC World original price and the better price they are price-matching, so if there's only £10 difference you get an extra £1 off the price-matched price :)
Had me confused on the website where it says "we'll reduce our price by 110% of the difference".

Yeah and double check their price differance calculations as tbh they get it wrong most times as a lot of the staff don't understand their own price match policy. For instance i bought mass effect the other day, £32.99 on the shelf in pc world, £9.99 in argos. So i asked for a price match. At first the girl on the till was adamant their wasn't any '10% of the differance' offer on. So the super came over and said there was and spent a good 5 mins trying to work out 10% of £23 (£2.30) and still got it wrong as she wanted to charge me £8.60 (should have been £7.69) I know its not a massive differance but if it had been a higher piced item i dread to think.. :whistling:
