Wow..... just got my pet insurance for my 3 years old dog in the post today from M&S last year was £13.99 per month gone up to a whopping £19.99 a month. Never even made a claim!!
So just got some reasonable quotes from Asda, Sainsburys and Tesco anybody had any good/bad experience with these companies for pet insurance? Or any recomendations would be much appreciated

It's because as they get older the risk of being ill increases. Still, it's a steep rise and 3 is still a young dog in my oppinion.
My cat (sorry yes a cat not a dog) is insured through tesco she's 4 now and it's still the same rate as it's always been.

Don't go with E & L Pet Insurance, they take ages to pay out & when the did they paid it straight to vet. Weten had to wait for the vet to pay us by cheque. We had already paid most of the vets bill in cash. Our 1yr old Westie had a genetic hip problem and it involved an operation and lots of hydrotherapy afterwards. When we got our renewal it had neary doubled in price. Now with Tesco, had no problems so far, but no claim either, (touchwood).
