Last week we had to take our puppy to the vet. He got medication etc and now I have the claim form.

Tonight it seems that the same problem is back, but the vet is closed and we have to take him to the emergency vet. Does anyone know if you can claim for both treatments under one claim?

I'm with aviva if it helps.....

no idiots please. just people who can actually help...

It's most likely outlined in the T&Cs.

If you pet is in pain i would take him to the vet first and worry about the insurance tomorrow

Good luck hope puppy gets better

A good vet will sort the forms out for you. You just pay the excess. Thats whats happened when we have taken ours. Give the claim form to the vets and ask them to complete it.

i used to sell insurance and each company has different clauses/etc, i would ring them up and ask the question before filling the form out. explain that its 1 problem or that 1st lot of meds/treatment didnt work, see what they say:)

When my greyhound had a problem with bleeding tail I just sent all the reciepts for the treatment she had recieved at the end, its the same problem so just hold off sending the claim until she/he is 100% better. Don't do it as 2 claims as some insurance policys will not allow it.
