Would it be acceptable to eat your pet rabbit if your dole check was 5 days away and no food in the fridge?

Oh good I´m starving

a lot of rabbits you buy in butchers are not wild, there are people that breed them for food.
The only issue would be how you would kill it...

Rabbit food?

Acceptable or legal?

I guess its legal to eat your pet rabbit, but morally, down to the individual.

Probably wise not to eat the pet gerbil. They're vermin and likely to upset your tummy.

not acceptable imo its a "pet" hence one of the family a pet is for life(until it dies of natural causes) not until you decide to end its life

There is a difference pet would be tender and more tasty than a tough wild one. LOL
In the 60's and early 70's it was the norm to have dozens:w00t::) of rabbits in cages in the garden I thought they were my pets as a kid, but we always had one for dinner once a week. The numbers never dwindled so I took no notice.

Lol, you're crazy, I used to threaten to eat my ex's rabbit if he peed on me again. lol

Just remember those little chocolate pellets that comes out the wrong end...try eating a pigeon instead...I've heard they taste like chicken...just like everything else. lol

I tried that. It's not recomended. I ended up swallowing a bell as well!

gerbil and cow would be easier to catch and kill prior to eating, they may however make you extremely sick and nauseous, you could even expire!
