im not sure it was planned....I think it may have been a possibility, but doubt they thought 20 dates in Manc for him would sell out

Surely this is not a deal - tickets are not reduced or anything like that or two for one ...
This should be in Misc for discussion.

Don't miss his hugely anticipated appearence at The NIA, Birmingham on Friday 8 - Sunday 10 April 2011.

What? This must be wrong as they can't be selling tickets 15 months in advance?
#22
can't believe he has that much of a break for a couple of venues!!
#23
Think of the interest he will have if you buy 4 tickets at £35 each (total of £140) for 15 months time if they take the money now!!!

Birmingham NIA is roughly 20,000 seats at £35 per seat total nights taking is £700,000. Yearly interest rate of 3% (its the credit crunch you know) over 15 months... interest receivable on that amount over 15 months is £26,250 (£700,000 * 0.03 /12 months * 15 months) and that is for one show... for three Birmingham shows only he is getting £78,750 not to mention the rest of his shows.

THAT IS SHOCKING AND A DISGRACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! AS HE IS DOING NOTHING FOR THAT MONEY.

oh god its at the O2. bog off. if i want to sit in a seat and stare at a screen all night i'l just buy the dvd when it comes out. save myself £40. when will comedians realise that theatres are their venues not stadiums. atleast have the common sense to perform in the middle of the arena so everyone can get a decent view.

Aren't those links specific to the Peter Kay site member?

I've got the email and the codes at the end of the links are different.
#32
I'm one of those who bought tickets to travel from N.Ireland! Still at least I'll see the show 6mths before he comes to Belfast and a good night out in Manchester is sure to follow the show.

Seeing as other venues are dated November 2010 then the Glasgow dates must be April 2011.

I first read it as April 2010 and thought great only about a week after my next birthday I might try and get some. But if they think I'll order tickets this week and pay my money now for a show that is almost 18 months away, then they can F**K RIGHT OFF!!! :x

The links posted by OP are unique to each person on his mailing list, I doubt they'll work for multiple purchases

You people are some of the biggest comedians around. You think comedy shows many months in advance is strange? You think £38 tickets for venues that size are strange? What planet have you been living on?

Also, you think the ticket pricing, and timing of the dates has ANYTHING to do with Peter Kay?

The best joke of all was the calculation of the extra money he'd "pocket" with interest on tickets bought so far in advance. That was priceless. He wouldn't see a penny of that money.
