If you look at the petition for him not coming, the places where peopled signed are centered around London, Oxford and Cambridge. However if you look at the petition for him to come, the places where peopled signed are spread all over UK with the exception of London.

Sometimes just because you are the one shouting the loudest, does not necessary mean you speak for everyone.

X) Lily Allen will be there crying & apologize on behalf of all white people, then cry some more, sing a rubbish song & flash her boobs to empower all the oppressed women of the world... It's gonna be great :D

I'm not even going to waste my time elaborating. I can imagine the sorts that come on HUKD aren't exactly liberal sweethearts.

The other one has a political agenda. This one is to whinge about the other one. "They've got a petition opposing trump and what he does and represents (I could go on...) so why can't we have one?! Yay Trump!! Yay white people!" You're generally not a very nice person if you do this.

But hopefully we'll see how many WANT Trump to visit, to put these liberal knicker twisted demonstrators into some sort of perspective. Honestly, I'm expecting Sting to release a record about it any day soon. X)

where's the petition to get an extra public holiday during his visit in the summer so we can have street parties?

Let's face it, it's offensive to the US population and our diplomatic ties to suggest their elected president should not visit the UK.

It's also offensive to suggest any pathetic moaning/protesting is on behalf of our queen, or because you won't sleep at night if you don' t moan at every opportunity rather than keep your job. Stop it and stop embarrassing yourselves.

When he visits, I think we should all make him feel at home, by painting ourselves orange, and sticking shredded wheat to our heads.

What is more ridiculous is that you can exract the data to see where the votes come from.

Not trying to prove anything, just find it interesting where the votes come from.

Also surprised that the info is relatively easily accessible and it even details names too!?!

Much like product review sites where there are far more one star reviews for products and companies then there are five star reviews. This is because when people are angry they feel compelled to write a review. When products are as expected or service as stated, no one thinks to write a review.

With Trumps visit the same analagy can be applied. All those that don't wish him to come are angry and protest and sign the petition. The other 60million+ people in the country who either don't mind him coming over, actually want him to come over, or simply have too much going on in their own lives to care that he is coming over are the silent majority.

If you look back over the official state visits just since the year 2000 for example there are numerous countries on there with abhorrent human rights records and countries that have carried out slightly suspect policies over the years and yet, no one set up a petition for these country's leaders not to arrive.

The bandwagon is well and truly rolling with the Trump thing. Plus it makes good viewing on the news as people are board of Brexit all the time.

All these petitions are pointless but make the people feel listened too.

Not so sure in this case.

I think there are those who:
1) Don't want him to come
2) Don't care if he comes

Not too sure there are enough people who actually want him to visit.
I'm somewhere between 1 & 2. I think the guy promotes hate under the guise of security. However, he did promise he would clamp down on certain things and he seems to be doing that.

Not too keen on the facebook revolutionaries who seem to suddenly care about issues such as female rights though? Where were these protests en masse when woman are treated like dirt across the whole of the Middle East and North Africa?

Ha 100K v 2 million against!
Guess the majority are the sensible ones who care for others the rest are selfish and admire fascist bullies
Reminds me of the false sense of security Cameron had when he called a referendum on the EU, maybe if May called a referendum on this it'd be 17 million for 16 million against? oO

It could happen. X)
