very confused, according to a checkmend report on a phone i sold 9 months ago

its been blocked by one or more uk networks

yet states

its not been reported lost or stolen, any idea's ??

maybe they lost it but didnt report it to the police

as thats not the way i am dimebars, as the buyer is now £220 down and i wanna help all i can, no tonico the phone was mine sold via here to someone else who couldnt use it and now has done a checkmend report which state the phone is blocked but for what reason it dont say, surely if blocked due to it being lost etc network would also log that

i posted what i needed to post, which was a question i needed answered, tonico seemed to work it out easy enough !!

but you would still need to report the reason for having it blocked at the time of requesting it, without casting aspersions are you sure you are being told the FULL details?

to be honest m8 i can only go on what ive been told and what ive been shown, the phone was sold 9 months ago tested and working, 9 months later according to checkmend it states blocked on one or more uk networks yet not reported lost/stolen, this is why i am so confused

Ask the buyer for a certificate id of the checkmend report and you can then verify the details in it

already done that m8, and it all checks out, gonna double check its same one i sent etc, but other then that im confused to why its blocked yet states no reason @ all, cheers m8 will rep u now

If its a contract phone and the bills werent paid then they could have blocked it because of that... Some networks will also block the handset if your late with one of the bills, T-Mobile have done this a few times... However, if you dont have your sim card in that handset when your account is up to date, then they may just forget to unblock it... Its best to ring up where the handset was purchased originally (if Pay as you Go) or the network it was purchased on (if contract)
