Hi all i have a lil dilemma - i dont know what to do:

On the one hand i can move from Three to Orange and get an N95 - But im not sure about if the N95 would be worth it on this network as there are no extras available (e.g football highlights, inclusive video calls etc)

On the other hand i can get an N73 on upgrade from Three - A provider i like with all the extras it has but not as good a phone!

Can anyone in the know please help on this one?????

Thanks

I'd personally try and bargain with Three and say you've been offered similar extras and a N95 elsewhere, See if they'll do a deal.......

tried it - phoned them 3 times...the last of these was talking to them for half an hour!

I told them the offer i was getting (explaining even if they offer slightly higher i would stick with them) and the best they could offer was £45 a month for 18 months

The orange n95 is the clearance one on Phones4u..

would you not consider another network provider to get the N95?
#4
He's considering orange, what he means is, if he moves, he'll loose all privlages of - Football highlights etc.
#5
Yea its sort of 'Should i get the better phone or the better network? (without knowing a whole lot about orange)
#6
oh and i forgot to add that i would have to port my number if i move to orange...and then theres the cashback claims!is the n95 worth all of this?

anyone know anything about orange extras - can u check usage on the mobile internet?how much are the data packages?
#7
Yeah Im pretty sure you can anup

You also have free Orange wednesdays.

yea thats a point actually....although i would rarely use it! One more in the plus column for orange then...

i think i'll just go for the n73 from three - so much less hassle and i gt to keep the great service i get....unless anyone else can convince me the n95 is worth the hassle over the n73???

thanks to all those who have replied already - rep added

or you can just do this get the n73 , sell it and add some money to get a n95 and you get all the previledges.

that is a good point! and theres a couple of n95's available on here too! but then where to sell the n73 would be an issue (as it seems to me no1 wants it on here)

but great idea - thanks i may just do that!

ebay you can get easily 100 pounds or maybe 120 max id think and n95s cost 200 on 3 on ebay those are rough costs it may be cheaper so your better off doing that id think.

thing with ebay is i have been scammed for £300 on a phone from there before. Some guy won an auction of mine for a phone and then payed through paypal from a stolen card. Paypal found out a few days later after i had removed the money and asked a collection agency to get the money back and they decided to phone me 10 times a day. I sent all of my info and the POD to paypal but they didnt help....dont feel like going through that again!

Was it NCO by any chance

You can also demand them not call you back.

If they do its harrassment.

You can then call in a solicitor.

well t0mm, i wish i had your advice a year and a half ago when it happened!

In the end i just gave them money after they threatened to come to my house! all done and dusted now though....im all the wiser from that experience and im really wary about ebay now...

actually a better idea is to tell them what you want and pay extra on your deal for the handset.

well i get the n73 for £15 a month from them (12 months) - the best deal they can offer me on N95 is £45 a month for 18 months!!!

They say the n95 is new so any 12 month contracts will charge for the handset (minimum £100)
