Just took out an HTC Hero contract at mobilephonesdirect. On the first page there was the options: I am an existing t-mobile account holder or number holder and I am not an existing t-mobile customer.
Well, i already have a contract account through t-mobile for my sons phone, so i clicked yes i have an account. For the existing number i put in his number. Order gone through. Now i have realised it never asked me to port my number. I went into an order page and tried clicking on im not an existing customer. IT OFFERED ME A FREAKING NUMBER PORT!
So unclear.. Its ok though, im fine if my number is not ported, BUT, am i going to get a new number or is it going to mess with my sons contract?
