Some of you may find this a great deal some may not, hope it helps some of you :) Apple/Beats products are expensive so even saving £50 on full price is still a saving after you deduct fees

** Also you have to add on 20%, and then another 20% on top of that as well (just over 40%) to the total final fee.

Some may still get a bargain if you live around that area and can collect without the trouble ** I know I know, it;s a shame they aren't delivering

The items are being sold in individual lots for public purchasing and not wholesale trade job orders. Online bidding is active now with many auctions listed with zero bids. For auctions that do have bids, prices are currently very low. Some entry-level iPad mini and iPad Air models are available for as little as £2

It appears that the auction site will accept bids from both within the UK and from international buyers, but the auction house will not be shipping items. Buyers must pick up items in person or make their own arrangements for shipment.

Bidding on the auction ends Tuesday, January 6, 2015 with a public showing available on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 10am to 2pm at John Pye & Sons warehouse in Staffordshire.

A bidding site? Not for me...

40% extra on top what a rip off so when you think you have a bargain at £100 is isent a bargain at £140 so i am out.

Thanks for sharing saxo_appeal, I've just popped this into misc as its more of a heads up than a deal.

A good heads up but probably better off waiting nearer the end to see if there is a deal to be had

Do youvhave to put down a 200 deposit when bidding as i think i read that somewhere in the terms and conditions

“Deposit” means the cash (or as otherwise agreed) deposit paid by the potential buyer upon Registration of either £200 or £500 as notified by JOHN PYE & SONS in the Important Notes.

removed a number of duplicate threads relating to this auction on Tuesday, January 6 (incl those flagged by fp - thanks again) - it's getting reposted quite often so tidied the thread and thanks also to saxo_appeal for flagging this particular auction date. Just report any duplicate thread and we'll spam rather than flagging them in here :)

Was already going stupid when I looked last week! Similar mentality to eBay from some bidders. Wonder how many trade buyers trawling the listings? Worth a punt though given the amount of stock on offer.
#12
Everything plus vat. Wii U's would be ok, but what happens if faulty within 2months etc? Once vat is on, you aren't saving much saying you'll have to pick up, would you not?

DO YOU DELIVER?

NO: WE DO NOT DELIVER, SHIP OR POST LOTS - All goods must be collected directly from the associated salerooms (weekdays 8.30am to 4.30pm) by bidders themselves or their own couriers (eg. Parcelforce, DHL, UPS). We can pack & weigh consignments to your couriers requirements at no extra cost, but only After full payment of invoices. Further details, contact and payment options are also included with copies of invoices emailed out at the end of a sale.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL CHARGES/FEES ?

YES: All bids placed are subject to the addition of both VAT (+20%) unless otherwise stated PLUS an additional Buyers Premium (+20%) incurred ON TOP of all lots / invoice totals (examples below);

- £100 bid on a lot with VAT: Y & 20% BP = £144 invoice to

You and ppl like you are to blame for the rediculous prices for posting the auction on this site. £100 for beats plus 40% fees then pickup. You used to be able to make money off these auctions
#16
Totally not worth it for a few reasons. (a) You need to add 40% to the winning bid (b) you need to collect these items (c) RMA on these is likely to be a nightmare (d) a lot of these products are probably cheaper elsewhere by now.
#17
Site looks terrible and all that messing about with picking up and vat makes it pointless

Stick to ebay looool
#18
Some prices looked good until I noticed that the prices don't include VAT & you also have to another 20% on top of that.
#19
Prices don't look great especially since these bids exclude the additional fees - would steer clear as others have mentioned.

well there is if you don't live locally, theres also packing costs.

Nothing on there that I can see is cheap. Especially when you take into account theres no returns.
S3 mini's for £70, +44% = £100.80, thats assuming you live close, i can walk into the town and buy one cheaper than that.

and? Not sure what your point is?
It's still a shipping cost if you arrange for dhl, parcelforce etc to collect for you.
