Photoshop help!

Hey all,

As part of a team building exercise i have to design a poster and present the finished prduct to my group :(

I have the idea and have made a poster - although the idea is good, my artwork is not!!

Could any photoshop genuises have a look with a view to tidying this up for me?

http://www.yourfilelink.com/get.php?fid=564099

The idea is simple -

header "Don't be popular for the wrong reason"

First picture - Facebook profile of a soldier saying he is going on patrol in an hour (alerting the enemy)

In the middle of the page should be a "rip" effect, like tearing a piece of paper and joining the 2 pictures (that is what the lighting bolt is meant to represent!!! :)

At bottom - a news article showing the soldier has been killed because he was careless in his personal security.

Can anyone help?

Firstly: Photoshop and word are totally different.

Secondly: I don't think the pictures have anything at all to do with the caption.

He didn't ask for critique he asked for help creating it. Either help or leave.

Will give it a go on Thurs.

Done, I've sent you a PM with the location of the file.

It's a PDF, created in Illustrator.

Lol,

I used to do a lot of graphic design stuff, haven't touched it for over a year so thought I might as well try something for this person etc. :)

or

something hard hitting to show the soldier was killed because of the information he put on his facebook.

thanks to the others and i look forward to seeing your attempts. i'll show them all to the group and i'll tell you on monday which one was chosen!!

also, looking at the 'rip' dividing the 2 articles. is there anything better you can do with it ie:

or perhaps something like a lightening bolt across the page?
#9
Ah now I see what you mean with the tear, I'll do it np.
