Get pirate bunting and put it around the house and large pirate flags on the walls. Hang cheap plastic pirate swords by fishing wire from the ceiling. Get cheap pirate patches and put them on old dolls etc. I'm an event manager and always use www.props4shows.co.uk for larger items smaller items I there is a great joke shop in Glasgow.

i saw some pinata's in ASDA a while back, they were £9.99, which I thought was a bit dear for a cardboard donkey, but then again, I don't really have anything to compare that to.

Hello - Woolworths online sell things for pirate theme parties, and Lakeland have (had) a pirate ship cake mould for about £10 (reduced from £30 I think)

You need some "mix tapes" on strings hung up around the place.

Tesco sell a variety of piñatas. Gold chocolate coins might be useful as a loot. Also, Marks and Spencer sell a personalised pirate cake but they're very expensive.

oh if your have a home bargains near by - they might have pirate costumes for small kids really cheap (i think for kids under the ages of 8) - They were on sale.

And i saw somewhere last week where the pinatas were on sale at very good prices (i thnk it was again home bargains but not 100% when i remember ill let you know).

God this sounds like the only place i shop is HB

We did pirate party bags for the boys at my daughters party. Got most of it from either Wilkinsons or Tesco.
