I purchased a 40 samsung telly on the 1st of May 2009 at the cost of £784 from Pixmania(Dixons Group). It has developed the screen flickering problem sammy's are so famous for.I contacted samsung and they said contact pixmania as its out of warranty.Contacted Pixmania via email and they instantly sent a repair return label.Called pixmania to arrange collection and they flat out refused collection saying that they wont do anything about it and if any queries call their complaints dept in Paris !!!
Called consumer direct and they said follow it through by sending a recrded letter to DSG head office.Any suggestion of how best to do it??
Any experiances any body has had dealing with pixmania??

Thanks

Don't know where you will get with it as you are a year out of the standard 12 month warranty but if you can play on the fact that Samsungs are known for their screen flicker issues and you made an attempt to resolve this matter a long time ago ;) you may get somewhere especially if you are persuasive enough. I would also look at sending a moan to John Browett, Chief Executive of Dixons Group explaining the lack of contact regarding this matter.

since pixmania are in france, , you may be able to invoke the EU 2 year warranty (not vaild in the UK cos our sale of goods act is a lot more comprehensive...and confusing)
