If you aren't fussed about the sea then take a trip to the Brecon Beacons, great for walking and plenty of nice small places around too (Llandeilo etc). My dog loves it  Probably has more fun in the sea though!

Did anybody see that programme on ch4 .i think it was called something like would you eat an elephant . these 2 guys went to Vietnam and ate at a restaurant where they were served dog. They then showed where the dogs were kept . These people were really cruel .The poor dogs looked so scared and showed so much emotion in their faces i felt so bad for them.

Gower is lovely, friends and I go with the dogs couple of times a year and there are some really good dog friendly pubs in that area plus the beaches are really clean and some lovely walks

nice to hear that about the beaches, we went to isle of wight last year and most beaches banned dogs and she does love the sea !!!

we were hoping to visit some castles or similar but they dont allow dogs so we are at a loss as to what to do now. as an example when we were in isle of wight we went to blackgang chine and an outdoor adventure trail so that kind of thing would also be good
