I remember you saying before you were going solo, fairplay.

The ponderosa restaurants arn't posh etc but they are great all you can eat buffets at a great price.

Would also recommend hiring a decent comfy car if you are doing alot of driving.

Yeah tbh prefer doing stuff on my own, no restrictions n I can do what I want.

Ponderosa sounds good to me lol, Im a real working class type person n like regular food so never been into posh restaurants

Will defo be hiring out a car as my friend said that you cant travel anywhere in the states without a car n plus I want to check out some of the coast roads

I'd love to drive down to the Florida Keys and drive on the highway on stilts in the sea!! Its 160 miles from Miami to Key West which is the furthest most key. Check out some pictures of the place, looks amazing

It isn't far, but trust me, it takes a while to get down there - around 4-5 hours.

Key West is awesome however.

If OP, you're not bothered about driving too much, I'd try and get through the Everglades and do a Croc Cruise on the airboats - great experience.

I also enjoyed Ft Lauderdale, Clearwater/St Petes etc.

Avoid Orlando like the plague.

A must do is Golden Corral like Pondersosa but (in my opinion) better, with a huge all you can eat buffett which includes all you can eat steak mmmmmmmmmmm - All for the sum on around $10.

If you like a better class of restaurants too try The Boma at Disney Animal Kingdom lodge, its amazing and 5* food. Its an all you can eat African buffett for about $32 but well worth it and take a stroll around and see the animals.

Also go to Blue Spings Natural Park where you can swim in crystal clear cold water, which is nice and refreshing in the florida sun, then take a swim to the bubbling up spring.
