Cannot create atmosphere and tradition wembley, nou camp,.bernabeu, Munich all have that
#5
didn't they pledge that these will be taken apart after the world cup & re-built elsewhere in the world ?
banned#6
amazing.
#7
They look good, but at the end of the day there is no point, at the end of the WC they will become dormant and unused.

And like what has been said before there is no atmosphere or tradition, which adds to a stadiums appeal.

This video is pretty cool - http://www.archdaily.com/93728/video-qatars-stadiums-for-2022-fifa-world-cup/

I honestly think most people are underestimating the potential Qatar has. They have so much money and the technological advances within the next 12 years should add up to a great world cup.

They are looking after the English with the stadium modelled after a windbreaker.

Looks fantastic though (apart from the windbreaker one!).

I honestly think you are underestimating how much natural gas this country has. Read up about it. Your mind will be blown.

Wow.

But really, in 12 years we could have nearly fully moved to renewable energy or nuclear, lowering their income substantially.

I can't predict the future, and no doubt the country will be absolutely loaded when the WC happens, but you never know.

Either way is used : Mining is the extraction of valuable minerals or other geological materials from the earth, usually from an ore body, vein or (coal) seam. The term also includes the removal of soil. Materials recovered by mining include base metals, precious metals, iron, uranium, coal, diamonds, limestone, oil shale, rock salt and potash. Any material that cannot be grown through agricultural processes, or created artificially in a laboratory or factory, is usually mined. Mining in a wider sense comprises extraction of any non-renewable resource (e.g., petroleum, natural gas, or even water).

No. They are being taken apart and used in poor countries to build "things".
