hey matey, id go with the lg 2nd one, the contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 wud be amazing, the samsung is only 30,000:1 mahousive difference there.

i have a 52" samsung with 50,000:1 and that looks amazing, but ive been told my my mate who works for sony and has a sony tv with 1,100,000 contrast ratio instore, that its just much sharper.

go with the lg, u wont be dissapointed, cdiscount is a great site also.

good luck with ur purchase.

The LG 50PG3000 is a good telly, but for 699 a tad expensive. The 50PG6000 (which I own!) is a much better TV - I paid around £748 for it but you can get it for £718.99 delivered here.

I know it's not cdiscount but for the price a good investment for a TV which is simply stunning.
