I recently bought £100 of DVD,s from Play.com through Quidco which should have given me a 4% return,ie £4.Instead,they have given me 2%(£2).I have contacted Quidco about it and they say they will investigate it.The two times i have contacted Play.Com they have given me a query number and then ignored it.Looking back at my Quidco earnings from play.com it's not the first time they have not given me the full 4% they offer.Just wondering if any other HotUKdeals viewers have noticed this.It would be worth looking at your quidco earnings to make sure your not being ripped off. After all when we look for bargains that 4% they claim to offer could be the clincher on wether we buy from them.

I had a similar problem with Next, should have given 3% cashback, only received 1%. Quidco don't appear to be too fast with sorting this out...

Cds, dvds etc only used to be 2% quidco, it's only more recently changed to 4%... maybe there's just been a mix up... Have you submitted a missing earnings enquiry? Or just emailed quidco?

The cashback from sites can sometimes change but Quidco actually have no control of this whatsoever and sometimes have no knowledge of this, as they simply track through a third party company and Quidco operates by providing you with all the cash they receive from the purchase.

It's down to the respective company thinking they're losing too much money by providing higher cashback rates to attain larger marketshare and make companies advertise there site for free but when products are competitively priced, most of them will only have a very small percentage profit after overheads.
In most cases being less than a high interest rate bank account and as more and more people use cashback sites, the more damaging it becomes for the companies, especially if vouchers are used.
