hey, i bought a tv from play.com on wednesday morning, and it said usually dispatched within 24 hours, yet it has been just over 2 days now.

i know i am being a little impatient, i was just wondering if anyone usually knows the sor tof time scale they deliver large items on?

there is a phone number on the delivery page - try giving them a ring and they should have a tracking number. They come from Jersey - so i suppose it depends if they get it to the dock on time for that days ferry !

All of plays stuff takes a few days to come, usually things are dispatched within the 24 hours but its the time it takes to get from there to you.

In your order online is there not a tracking number? Usually things that are over a certain amount are sent via special delivery, have a wee look.

yeh, i know delivery takes a while, i'm saying its not been dispatched yet. status of order is 'packing' and has been for over 48 hours.

You didn't say that in your original post, you should give them a phone then.

I ordered some computer memory from them it had said packing for ages, when I contacted them they actually didn't have the stock, it eventually arrived 4 weeks' later:x

well i hope this isn't the case for me. i was just going through their automated system ringing them when i load up my account and its reverted back to 'processing' from packing'.

hopefully this is a step forward...

... and play.com has updated their main website to show the tv in question dispatches in 4.5 days. :(
