Just thought I would start a little topic to see who is going to this event next weekend at Wembley.
I have heard there are going to be live bands, shows and all sorts of stuff planned for it, but can't seem to find out to many concrete details, even at Play's website.

This is just a bit of a thinking pot reallly, like to get your views on what you hope to see there/ do etc.

Not yet, although when I spoke to my contact the other day they said the VIP tickets should be posted about 10 to 15 days prior to the event, so they should be here within a day or two, what with the event being this weekend and all!!!

I gave play a call, spoke to 2 people. First person I spoke to gave me a specific number to call for play.com live and basically told me to call them and they would send me an email which I could then print out and get access. So I rang the number, but then they told me the tickets will be sent today, and that if I haven't received them by Thursday, give them a call again and they will put my name down on the list so I can get entry. I hope the bad weather doesn't affect the delivery times...

Elliot Minor: they are played on Kerrang a bit and are not that heavy, kind of like a heavier Busted.
We are scientists: got a new song out now, i discovered them when they supported the Kaiser Chiefs and they are good.

Other than that i have no idea who the other people are. Then again, for a couple of quid you cant expect much.

god, I remember going to a C64 event in the 80s, free random records at the door ( I still have the Bill Cosby film soundtrack they gave me- funktastic) and being blown away by the PA playing 'Monty on the Run', the first time i'd ever heard it.

Hurrah, tickets are finally here, Mike is a happy bunny, VIP tickets all the way, only problem is that I have 3 in my envelope instead of one, like all the others I ordered :)

Mike..
