Hiya everyone.

I recieved a memory card from play.com today & have just opened it & put it into my phone to find out it doesnt work. It turns out they have sent me a microSD card instead of the M2 card that I ordered. It is about the same size & actually fits properly but is a slightly different shape to the M2 card & it doesnt work.

I've cut through the packaging as it was in one of those blister packed ones that you have to cut to open.

On the receipt etc it says M2 card so it is definately their mistake.

So what should I do? Am I entitled to a replacement & how would I go about getting one?

It's definitely their mistake, so yes, you can get a replacement. However, you have to do it from your online orders page.

Thanks for that mate. Glad I can get the proper one.

So would I return it & they refund the postage & send the right item?

They may let you keep the item since it was their mistake, but more than likely they will ask for it back and send you the correct one. They will refund the postage charge incurred by you.

phone them up, last time i phoned up about some quicksilver shorts, all the staff were very helpful (and irish :w00t:)
