Recently upgraded for free from windows 7 to Windows 10 using the assistive technologies trick (see other posts for that).

what I didn't know it's that now I can stream Xbox one games to my low end PC so when my son is sleeping I can play his Xbox but on my PC in a different room!

just plug in an Xbox one controller into my PC, start up the Xbox one streaming app and away you go!

may not be a new thing but works really well and thought it worth letting people know!

click the deal link to go direct to the Microsoft web site explaining how to do it

it streams the whole console to your pc, your playing your xbox mirrored on to your laptop screen.

Not xbox, but you can stream games from your nvidia equipped PC to your android phone too over steam and moonlight (there is software to do it via AMD, but its crap, nvidia does all the encoding in hardware).
Install Trinus 3d and with a gyro enabled phone, and then install tridef (although some games like Elite Dangerous have native 3d support) and you can have full 3d enabled head tracking to your phone.

if you find it laggy tweak the streaming settings lower and it will work, you do lose a lot of quality on low settings, so either go wired or make sure you have a decent router/ WiFi

Really impressed how well this works, windows are planning a " game Mode" for windows10, which should improve performance even more. :)

Yeah, set this up for my lad over Christmas, pretty sure it's a well trodden path tbh.
But hey, if it let's more people know, more power to em. :)
Make sure you got good internet speed or drop your streaming settings down from 1080 to 720 if you wanna avoid lag.

That is absent now the thread has been moved to the "Misc" Forum.

The following article may answer a few (further) questions:

It's not based on internet speed!!!! It's based on how good your home network is! If your using wireless for both console and of expect lag!!!

Really? I thought game mode was to improve games running on the PC and hadn't seen anything about it improving the Xbox remote play - be interested if you have a link please.
