Playing an Xbox 360 on a TV in a different Room

I think the title sums up what I'm after - Was wondering if there is a way of playing my xbox 360 (which is currently set up in the main room via component) on a TV in the bedroom without the obvious moving of the 360 into the bedroom.

It would have been good if my xbox had a HDMI output because I could have just bought a 10m HDMI cable!

Humm - say scrap the wireless idea. What about a wired solution.

If you did mange to get a cable that long, surly the wireless range on the controller wouldnt reach?

I used 10m as a kind of safe limit with extra leeway.

We are in a flat so it's literally the next room across - I've walked around before chatting to mates on the headset

Not sure on a 360, but you can do it with a PS3, with the PS3 being downstairs, and the TV upstairs.

Hmm I've had a few issues when the controller would reach, but after a few secs the controller would lose its sync. Might be worth checking to make sure it works before spending monies.

My 360 controllers work at over 30 feet away and tbh it's more like 120 feet they definitely work from upstairs to downstairs. Same can be said for the ps3 ones I have I tested them and blu ray remote from outside house and nearly around the corner over 120 feet.

No guarantee anyone else's would perform like that as there will be numerous reasons for a good or bad signal
