My pad just died ... :(

I sent it into Sony the other day and they sent it back saying they checked and it worked (even i was shocked!)

It worked for well a week now, and the same problem again! Its dead! - Not blinking lights or taking charge..

What did they do to make it work?
Has this happened to anyone else who might know what makes it work?

Thank youu

Just tried that, but still nothing!
Im stunned on how the same thing happens twice, there must be a way of getting this thing back on without sending it to them (and it'll magically work again lol)

double checked your USB cable ? as one of mine stopped working as was that.

if not just send it back again stating its the 2nd time you sent it should get a new/reconditioned one

Have you tried opening it up and cleaning the inside with a dry cotton bud?

Dont open your joypad, lose your warranty. Simply get a usb cable plug it into joypad and plug into a pc see if it charges, then the issue is with your ps3 port. otherwise get it swop , call the playstation helpline , say you want to speak a manager and get them to give you a new unit... the battery inside maybe cracked inside...
