Hi all apologies for the wordy title.

Like i said, ive got a HDMI to DVI cable conecting my PS3 to my Dell S2309W.
The monitor is native 1080p resolution, and is HDCP compatible, but my quality in game is still SD rather than HD.

The PS dashboard is fine, and so is BluRay playback, both display crisp, it's that damn in game quality.

Can anybody shed any light before all my audio cabling turns up lol.

Rep waiting for anybody that can help out.

Merry Christmas ~~Jin

Go to Settings on the PS3, then go to Display settings, and then manually change the video output to 1080.

COD:MW2 is not native 1080p, it's 600p
I think Tekken 6 is about 720p

But you can upscale any game to 1080p

Yeah display on monitor shows native 1080p res, and PS3 options for 720p/1080i/1080p are selected on the custom options settings.

I thought to try and disable the 576 option to force the higher resolution, but it was greyed out.

Really strange.
