Hey community

After the trial of PlayStation Beta in 2010, PlayStation Access launches in February and is here for good, giving you guys the chance to get hands on with the great new software releases planned for this year - as well as a host of other opportunities, giveaways, competitions and exclusives.

The first PlayStation Access event will be taking place in London from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th February before travelling to Glasgow on Friday 18th – Sunday 20th February.

Both events will be kicking off on the Friday evening, which will play host to our 18+ session. We will then have 4 more sessions that will take place over the course of the weekend, involving intimate developer sessions and a FIFA Interactive World Cup tournament, with the winners from each session going through to the FIWC UK Final.

What's more, if you've recently got yourself a copy of GT5, get practicing, as we will be hosting a GT5 Time Trial competition where you could be in with the chance of winning a pair of tickets to the UEFA Champions League Final taking place at Wembley in May 2011!

For more information and to register for tickets, please visit the PlayStation Access Facebook page by clicking through to http://www.facebook.com/playstationaccess

Hope to see you there!

PlayStation Access Live - Birmingham
by PlayStation Access on Thursday, 18 August 2011 at 18:04

Access fans!

PlayStation Access Live is kicking off a UK tour. We're hitting the Rainbow Rooms in Birmingham on Thursday 25th August and won’t be leaving until Saturday 27th August.

With your first chance to get hands on with Resistance 3, Journey, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD, LittleBigPlanet Move Edition, DanceStar Party, Medieval Moves, After Hours Athletes AND jam to a live performance from Yasmin (she’s worked with the likes of N.E.R.D and Taio Cruz, more about Yasmin here) on Friday and Saturday; this is one hell of a PlayStation experience and you do not want to miss out. Plus, we'll be running several competitions during the event through which you can grab some brilliant gaming goodies.

We’re still waiting for a couple of games to confirm their attendance too – so keep an eye on the PlayStation Access Facebook page for any last minute news.

We’ve got 120 pairs of tickets to dish out across 4 sessions and they usually go like hot cakes – so click on the Birmingham Access tab now, choose your preferred session and submit your entry.

Yasmin will be performing live at Access Birmingham on Friday and Saturday – be sure to select those sessions of you want to see her!

We’ll let you know if you’ve got a ticket early next week.

Good luck, we'll see you there!

PS. Perfect your cow drawing skills. Seriously.
