Well first time you use it, you'll be having to download all the different 'spaces', but don't let that put you off...

I love it, I think it's ace. I don't chat to anyone on it, though, I just like collecting the limited edition objects, and playing all the mini-games, and trying all the new spaces, etc.

There's a good redbull air race; the Buzz space is good fun, the bowling. pool and arcades are worth going on.

Some things you have to wait until people finish their game to play (like the poker), but when the game becomes available, it's worth playing.

You win t-shirts and objects in the mini-games - I've got a Fat Princess Throne; Everybody's Golf Sofa; Rag Doll Kung Fu rug; 3 arcade machines; loads of limited edition t-shirts and clothes, etc.

Check all the stores - there are loads of freebies - I wouldn't pay for anything on there, personally.

I imagine it's better if you meet up with your mates on there - you can do Game Launching on games like Street Fighter IV with people you meet in Home.

Edit: If that all sounds crap to you, you will probably hate it, lol!

I don't go on Playstation Home often because being a female, the second I go on it some idiot always tries to chat me up :x very annoying. However, I have used it a few times and there are fun things to do; The Red Bull Air Race, playing pool, bowling (which I never did quite get the hang of, lol), this game called Ice Breaker which I was completely addicted to and if you complete up to a certain level in it you get free items of clothing. I didn't take part in the whole XI thing but many people found it enjoyable. I am hoping to be able to use it in the future because I think the concept of it is a fantastic idea and maybe if they added more things I would maybe use it more.

I'm a female too - I just turn off the text chatting, and you don't even see what people are trying to say to you - how very unsociable am I!? I'm like that in real life too, lol! But it works better for me, as I just wanna do my own thing in there...

Thanks for that info, I wasn't aware that you could turn off the text chatting :? You aren't being unsociable, lol It is really annoying going on there and having complete strangers ask you all this weird stuff!! It's like you wouldn't ask me that if you were walking past me in the street but the annonymity of the internet gives you right to think you can ask me what colour of knickers I am wearing!!! I am assuming that most of the comments are probably from young teenagers but it is still really irritating because as you say I just want to go on and do my own thing. I have watched my other half on ps home and he doesn't get harassed from females like I do from males. As I said if it was used properly, it is a really great concept but the behaviour of others really put me off going on it

Yea... well just go on and press SELECT, I think it is... and disable Voice and Text Chat - once you do that, it's brilliant, hehehehe!

You can turn it on if you ever need to - there was a competition to win the rag Doll Kung Fu rug, and you had to look for an avatar wearing a pair of jeans with the Rag Doll Kung Fu logo on them. If / when you saw him, you had to run up to him and say "Fists of Plastic". I spotted him straight away, and was pressing Triangle to speak to him and nothing was happening... After a couple of minutes I realised I had disabled the text chat - it stops you being able to use it too! I was having a right flap trying to re-enable it and say the phrase before he ran off, lol!

Ha ha ha :giggle: I remember when that competition was running, lol My other half thought that instead of looking for the avatar with the logo that he would just run up to anyone and everyone saying "Fists Of Plastic" . Needless to say he didn't win the rug :giggle: Did you manage to re-enable it on time? I have given you some rep for helping out with the text chat thing, will definetely make life so much easier when I go on it, I will be able to see them following but not have to read what they are saying, much appreciated

Frollickingfrill is my mum, selling the PS3 on my behalf, it is actually my PS3 but i am not allowed to post on the FS/FT so my mum posted it for me.

I will await your PM, hopefully it will be good news for me, because I want the money for a TV :)

It's pretty easy to figure out - just download it and give it a try :)

I plugged in the singstar mic and when I finished i pulled it out by the wire and not by the actual rectangular box where the USB is if you get me? The part of the USB that is missing from the PS3 went into the mic USB, but my brother managed to get the part out, so the mic was saved, but the PS3 wasn't
