These are question a friend want to ask.

1) Can O2 or Apple know if your iPhone is jailbroken (currently on contract)
2) Can apps from Apples app store be purchased as normal
3) Can iTunes be used like normal
4) Can the OS be put back to official apple firmware (I have told him it can via backed up SHSH files) but he want more confirmation. from other users

I done mine but he wasn't convinced
I am trying to backup his SHSH files but autoSHSH program is saying "unsupported device does require SHSH blobs"

what should i do to back them up
I noticed some thing with my new jailbroken ipod touch before JB i saved my SHSH files 9onto PC) now I have done the JB Cydia does have the green text at the top saying SHSH are saved to cydia. how do I save them to it.
no, yes, yes, yes.

My Q is this: I have been told (it says it on cydia!) that it aint worth updating to 3.1.3 because its very difficult to jailbreak and you dont gain much... have you guys found that this is the case?
It's not worth updating to 3.1.3 if your on 3.1.2 and having no problems. Although it's no longer hard to jailbreak 3.1.3, with the release of spirit at the weekend. It's a 1 button 30 second job.

mine took less than 10 sec:?
So you have them saved on your PC and cydia? If so your sorted can't really go wrong with 2 backups

sorry I meant is doesn't have the green text
