police reprimand................

a 17 year old recieving a police reprimand,had a lil look on google but i would like to know is it on a record as a criminal offence? does it have to be declared when applying for jobs etc?

It is kept by the police until you are 18 but can be mentioned in court if proceedings are being brought against you.

It is an admitted offence which isnt serious enough to proceed any further.

It is not classed as a conviction -
if it asked for all criminal convictions including cautions and reprimands you then have to declare it

it would not show up on a standard CRB check

Naa they're a waste of time just forget about it, i received one when i was 11 for "vandalism" coz i broke a branch of a tree :?

edit: i received a caution not a reprimand, think they work differently.

the u.s declaration forms ask you to declare everytime youve picked your nose
and now you have to do it online about a week before you travel
