I heard about this this morning.
Not sure about it.
Surely if they WERE dangerous, they'd HAVE to recall them?

You have to believe it! It was in the Sun...

im sure the comments say it all....its not like a mattress or sofa its a small thing and i thinks the chemical is fo fire retardency-there would be complaints if they were flammable?

I laughed, they should have tested them extensively before selling. Now they are going to go bust because they were rubbing their hands with the amount of money they were charging for these things.

its a load of rubbish, some person with nothing better to do making it into a big fuss i think personly, if it was that dangerous they wouldnt be aloud to seel them and would have to recall them all. and its only one of the hamster Mr Squiggles they are sayin has high levels

Sorry .... but I find this too funny for words :) They'll end up in Oxfam before Summer anyway. LOL.

These kind of stories do have an effect - so expect to see a sudden increase in the availability of Mr Squiggles and a big fall in the Ebay price.................maybe I shouldn't chuckle at the Ebay profiteers trying to cash in on the demand but I do :)

A non story at a time when there is little going on .... and they want to jump on every success to try to discredit it.

When I was a child I used to play in the mud, paint with lead paint and help my dad change his asbestos brakes ........ these Go-Go Hamsters are about as safe as anything else.

In any case, as has been said above, they will be in PoundLand at Easter and in the Car Boot Sales through the summer.

They cost pennies .... live life, let your kids enjoy themselves .... I wouldn't worry!

I am not a fool to distrust anything that is in The Sun regardless of where else it might be. I did not say it was not true just that reading it in that piece of nonsense calling itself a 'newspaper' is hardly the basis for panic.... Thanks for your comments though, always useful...
