I need to send a letter urgently, can anyone tell me what is the best way to get next day delivery? I cannot find anything on the net but I know there are alternatives to Royal Mail. Thanks!

I think Special Delivery is still operating normally, even though it is part of Royal Mail.

E-mail??
#3
Fax it

Could you DX it? Just find a friend who works in an office!

Walk into a Fedex agent like Kinkos or a DHL Service point.

Thanks everyone for your speedy replies. The letter contains tickets for a theme park that need to be used next week, so I can't email or fax... I could use special delivery but they have removed the next day guarantee because of the strike. All the courier firms only quote for parcels, not letters. It's so confusing!

A site dedicated to assist you but looks like prices are from £8.99 for a letter

Put them in any sized box, and you have a parcel.
Parcel2go have 4 quid Quidco for new customers, i used them last week for a tv with no problems. It weighed 3 stone and cost me 7.46 before quidco with Home Delivery Network but was same price with DHL.
