you can put more than 1 stamp on it thats fine as long as it covers cost

So roughly how many stamps would I need?

Take the first one to the PO to make sure you're putting on enough postage. That way at least you'll know how much it takes.

You wont make people very happy if they have to go to the sorting office and pay extra postage before they are allowed to pick it up...lol

And it works fine everytime?

ClarityofMind I know what you mean but I can't do that everytime and would find it easier just sticking it into the post box.

I know would be a drag. Just take into account if the parcel is heavier or larger due to instructions or something included ( thinking of game manuals inside cases ).

I'll put 2 stamps on each dvd and on the rare case if that does happen i'll pay the charge as long as I get a picture for proof? and be more careful next time?

not enough , as stated 66p for 2nd class but that went up april 6th but was 27p for 2nd class so 27p x 2 = 54p so mean you paying £1.12 in a fine for under postage brb with the correct amount

check the royalmail website to calculate the costs before you send
#14
Its now 76p 2nd class and 90p 1st class

2nd class stamps are worth 30p and 1st are worth 39p so 2 x 1st class would cover sending it 2nd class

or 3 x 2nd class would send it 1st class, thought i be bit dubious.

If you planning t do this often why not go to P.O and buy the correct postage and keep 1 or 2 spare??

This is why I said OP should check the cost before he sends... at least the first time and then he'll know any subsequent parcels should cost around the same amount.

Get some Jiffy (type) bags from the pound shop too. You can get a pack of ten for a squid if you're lucky
