I checked, Its easy to put whole way in.
The spring it loose and wouldn't hurt himself.

Just find that with people stealing your identiy, they should..

Would be cool if someone here, KNOW a postman and could tell me if they are suppose to....?
Maybe they arn't.....
Was going to give him 20 quid for Christmas, then ask him...

My normal postie puts them in properly along with a few dog treats every now and then!! so when we have the replacement guy the dogs all charge at the door to look for treats!! I think i may explain this to him they have no interest in his fingers they are untasty lol

I think you can complain tho :-)

The Post Office don't deliver letters.

I would speak to your postman about it in a nice friendly way.
Much better than phoning the sorting office and putting his back up.

It's not as bad as my postie who sometimes leaves packages outside my door when they don't fit through the letter box!

Our postie never gets you to sign for recorded, hell knows how he gets away with it! You can check online and weeks later it still shows as undelivered, thats why I always pay for recorded when ordering online from larger companies:whistling::whistling::whistling:

Hell if the royal mail cant sort their staff out its their loss:whistling::whistling: Its not just us though its the entire round, several of us have complained about it.

our postman is to lazy to buzz our doorbell and come upstairs when we have larger deliveries, so we always have to go to the depot to pick stuff up :x

That's the best thing to do.

Your postman can make your life a lot easier, so explain your concerns and he should take the extra second to make sure your letters go through the door properly.

Not good advice(Not just you).

Nothing will happen to the postman, he will be told to make sure he puts them through, that's it.

You then have a postman that is peed off with you, and in charge of your mail.
He won't (I hope) do anything with your mail, but if he receives something that is not correctly addressed for you, instead of delivering it, he will return it to sender as "Incomplete Address".

This is just one of the ways he helps out, there are many others.

I phoned by sorting office because my new postie(the last retired now we get YTS rejects!) was doing exactly that.
Plus, he was cutting through the gardens to make his deliveries. I was wondering why I had big muddy footprints all over my decking at the front of the house!
He's got such a cushy number doing our area. No tenements or high rises. My Grandpa was a postie for 46 years (wore a proper uniform and everything!) and there was never any chance of a short cut!
Thoses were the days when posties even worked an early morning shift on Xmas Day. Could you imagine the strikes we'd have on our hands if it was suggested that we were to bring those back!!!

have a word with him and he should sort it out. If you haven't got a dog it should be no problem.
