I've tried all sorts of portable powerpacks for charging my devices , pda's , mp3 players , phones , satnavs and some dont push out the higher 5v charge required for some things . I have solar chargers , battery chargers that charge from the Pc usb ports all sorts of things and the best one was a deal found on this site from Orange . It was a battery in a casing made by Philipsthat powered anything that uses USB ports and was powerfull enough to power a 19v laptop . Best bit , it was only £23 . I checked the sites at the time and it was sold for £119 if not higher . I would go some something like this .Ideally if you can find a solar charger that pushed out 1Amp @5 volts .
